GT1 World – Double for Hexis in Navarra

Starting from behind would seem to be the right strategy to compete for the front positions in Navarra since the podium is completed by the BMW E89 Z4 Vita4One of Michael Bartels and Yelmer Buurman who left the pits following a fuel problem detected during the lap of acknowledgement. The Dutchman moved up the positions by extending his stint as much as possible and thus taking advantage of a clear track. The Reiter Engineering Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 of Peter Kox and Darryl O'Young, which started from pole, finished fourth while both Mercedes Inkl-All.com Racing's SLS AMG completes the top six with the #38 of Marc Basseng and Marcus Winkelhock ahead of the #37 of Nicky Pastorelli and Thomas Jäger.
