Sofrev-ASP returns to Blancpain and GT Tour

Despite the departure of some of his star drivers like Olivier Panis and Eric Debard, today at Hexis, or even Ludovic Badey who will be found at Thiriet by TDS, Jérôme Policand is committing this year to his Ferrari 458 Italia on the same programs as last year, namely the European Blancpain series, and the French GT championship as part of the GT Tour. The only difference is that there will only be two cars in GT FFSA compared to three in 2012. Although we do not have to be ashamed of our results (three vice-champion titles. Editor’s note), high-level teams offered our drivers more attractive packages, analyzes the Toulouse pilot-boss. Their policy was perhaps more aggressive than ours, and this season will perhaps lead to a certain questioning on our part. Results aren't everything; you have to be able to offer the right package to the drivers: technique, car and partners »

In the GT FFSA, Sofrev-ASP will entrust its 458 to the Morgan Moullin Traffort-Fabien Barthez crews, already associated last year, as well as to the “returning” Soheil Ayari, French GT champion in 2006 and 2007, who will compete in the alongside the faithful Jean-Luc Beaubelique. In Blancpain Endurance Series, the same Beaubelique will team up with Patrice Goueslard and Jean-Luc Blanchemain, back on the circuit after a break in rally-raid. The other Ferrari will be in the hands of Gabriel Balthazard, Maurice Ricci and… Jérôme Policand. These two cars will be entered in the “Gentlemen” category and will have the mission of aiming for the Drivers and Teams titles. Only one of the two Italians will participate in the 24 Hours of Spa, the high point of the European SRO series.

While waiting for the three shots of Blancpain (April 14 at Monza) and the GT Tour (April 27-28 at Le Mans), the Toulouse team will line up on the Easter weekend for the inaugural round of the FIA GT Series, at Nogaro .
