The Blancpain Endurance Series calendar will be made up of six events, five of which have been finalized for the moment. The discipline will visit Paul-Ricard and the Nürburgring for the first time.

The Blancpains are preparing for 2012

The Blancpains Endurance Series had a successful launch in 2011, where Greg Franchi and the Belgian Audi Club won the Drivers' and Teams' Championships. The second year of the discipline will begin with two days of testing at Paul-Ricard (March 20 and 21). The season will begin like last year with the Monza event (April 14 and 15) before the paddock moves to Silverstone (June 2 and 3). The teams will then return to Paul-Ricard (from June 29 to July 1) before competing in the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (from July 25 to 29). The competitors will then travel to the Nürburgring for the first time (September 22 and 23). A final race which remains to be determined will take place in October.

The Blancpain Endurance Series will be accompanied by the Revival discipline, which will concern the GT cars present on the circuits between 1994 and 2004, and the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo on all events of the season. There F3 British will also be present at the Blancpain Endurance Series weekends at Monza, Paul-Ricard and Spa-Francorchamps. “We have changed what was wrong, we will have new circuits and more cars,” comments Stéphane Ratel, president of SRO. “After the year 2011 which was a real success, I am convinced that the 2012 season will be even better. »
