Porsche Scholarship candidates in Valencia

La Porsche International Cup Scholarship est une aubaine pour les pilotes intéressés par une carrière en GT et/ou en Endurance. The Stuttgart manufacturer brought together nine drivers aged under 27, most of them from the Carrera Cup, at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia (Spain) to evaluate them for two days at the wheel of the 911hp 3 GT460 Cup in order to designate a successor to Earl Bamber who currently leads the Supercup Drivers standings.

Tom Dillmann and Côme Ledogar were the nominees for the France Cup and had to compete against Matteo Cairoli (Italy Cup), Alif Hamdan (Asia Cup), Ryo Ogawa (Japan Cup), Oscar Palm (Scandinavia Cup), Sam Power ( Australia Cup) and Josh Webster (GB Cup). Only Michael Lewis came from the GT3 Cup Challenge in the USA due to his convincing performances. The lucky winner will be announced within the next three weeks.

“We were able to observe impressive performances and this confirms to us that the Porsche brand Cups have many young talents all over the world”, commented Jonas Krauss, manager of the Porsche Supercup. “We now need to evaluate individual parameters over the coming weeks to determine the best candidate. But one thing is certain, it is already an honor for all the participants to have been called. »
