London to host Race of Champions 2015

The next Race of Champions will be contested on November 20 and 21 in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Stadium which hosted the Olympics in 2012. Great Britain returns to the ROC for the first time since 2008 when the event took place at Wembley Stadium. The last editions were contested in Beijing (2009), Düsseldorf (2010 and 2011), Bangkok in India (2012) and Barbados (2014).

“Each edition has been special, but it will be fantastic that this one takes place in Britain with such history in this country. I am sure it will be one of the most beautiful”, commented David Coulthard, during his visit to the stadium which will host the Race of Champions. « It seems that part of the public no longer appreciates the F1 than in recent years. These people need to go to the Race of Champions if they want to rediscover the reasons that make them love motorsport. »
