The revival of three-hour GT racing is a real success. Prestigious teams, cars that are no less prestigious, the inaugural season promises to be a real success.

More than 70 cars in the Blancpain Endurance Series

Stéphane Ratel Organization has returned to the fundamentals of GT racing initiated at the end of the 90s and the beginning of the 2000s: three-hour events reserved for crews of two or three drivers. This time behind the wheel of cars meeting GT3 and GT4 regulations. This return to basics attracted a large number of teams and drivers. The organizer has in fact received 46 registration requests for the year, for a total of 30 teams, and 27 other requests for participation in the race, mainly for the 24 Hours of Spa, the backbone of the championship.

The grid will thus be composed of Mercedes SLS AMG, McLaren GT, Nissan Skyline GT3, Ferrari 458 Italy, Aston Martin DBRS9, Audi R8 LMS, Corvette Z06R, BMW Z4, Ford GT, Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 et Porsche 911 GT3 R, mais également en GT4 d’Aston Martin Vantage, BMW M3, Ginetta G50, Lotus 2 Eleven, Lotus Evora, Maserati Gran Turismo, et Nissan 370Z.

Among the teams entered are Vitaphone Racing, Hexis AMR, AF Corse, Gravity-Charouz, Sofrev ASP, Marc VDS, Mühlner Motorsport, Reiter Engineering, WRT, CRS Racing, Lotus Driving Academy? Other structures, such as Graff Racing, Phoenix Racing, Alpina or Saintéloc, must honor the double clock tower in Spa with their presence.

« The teams' reaction to the Blancpain announcement Endurance Series has been exceptional and we can expect a strong starting grid in the first race at Monza, rejoiced Stéphane Ratel. No less than fourteen manufacturers are present on the entry list and it will be great to see their brands fighting for the podium on some of the most emblematic circuits in Europe. The number of participants in the 24 Hours of Spa promises to be the largest in many years ».

During this inaugural season, the field will stop at Monza (Italy, April 16-17), Navarra (Spain, May 21-22), Spa (Belgium, July 28-31), Magny-Cours (France, 26-27 August) and Silverstone (Great Britain, October 7-9).
