RoC – Daniel Ricciardo will make his debut in London

Team Australia will look great next November at the Race of Champions which will take place in Great Britain in London. Daniel Ricciardo, current driver of the team Red Bull Racing en F1, will make his big debut at this meeting, and will compose a highly anticipated team as part of the Nations Cup, with the five-time 500 cm³ Moto world champion (1994 – 1998), Michael doohan.

“It’s an honor to be invited to the Race of Champions and I’m really looking forward to racing inside the Olympic Stadium in London, confesses Ricciardo. It will be very different from what I am used to in Formula 1. It is a serious challenge, but I am ready for anything. It's also very special to be able to represent my country, especially as my teammate is Mick Doohan. The word "legend" is overused in sport, but Mick is one of the few who deserves the name. What he has achieved is incredible and he is very good on four wheels too. »

The Australian pair will join several other motorsport stars already confirmed to take part in the event such as Petter Solberg, reigning World RX champion, David Coulthard, former F1 driver at McLaren ou Williams, or even Tom Kristensen, nine times winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
