Sofrev-ASP in Blancpain Endurance Series

After eight seasons in Porsche Carrera Cup France, the Sofrev-ASP team is planning at the continental level. The international series managed by SRO will take place on the most beautiful European circuits (Monza, Magny-Cours, Silverstone, etc.) for 3-hour races, culminating in the 24 Hours of Spa. “ It's always very interesting to get involved in a new discipline, explains Jérôme Policand team-manager and driver. The Blancpain settlement Endurance Series is similar to those of the major endurance championships, which allows you to benchmark yourself against the competition. The Carrera Cup was a sprint discipline; here we enter directly into a new universe. Managing an endurance race is not really the same story! »

Two cars in Sofrev-ASP colors will be lined up in the discipline. On the first Ferrari 458 GT3 Pro Cup, Patrice Goueslard will team up with Julien Jousse, while the third driver could be Policand himself, if the team does not find another competitive driver accustomed to the rules of endurance. “ Patrice has a phenomenal record in GT, continues Policand. FIA GT Champion, GT1 LMS Champion, 15 participations in 24 Hours of Le Mans? He is a true specialist in the discipline. And Julien Jousse is a young and talented driver whom I met during the last edition of the 24 Hours at Luc Alphand. He is also vice-champion of FR 3.5 2008 ". On the second car, a Ferrari 458 GT3 Pro-Am Cup, the Badey-Beaubelique tandem, already entered in the GT Tour, will team up with Franck Morel, the team's Carrera Cup driver in 2010. For the 24 Hours of Spa, Guillaume Moreau will join the Pro-Am Cup crew. A top driver who already has great experience in endurance and with whom I rode during the 24 2007 Hours of Le Mans. All we have to do now is get to work! »

The first race will take place on April 17 on the Monza circuit. Navarre (May 22), Spa (July 30-31), Magny-Cours (August 27) and Silverstone (October 9) will follow.
