Long in the running for victory, the No. 46 Team Mola GT-R led by Masataka Yanagida and Satoshi Motoyama, who had taken pole position, was finally forced to retire due to a mechanical problem. With this success, Rossiter takes the opportunity to take control of the championship with three points ahead of the duo Andrea Caldarelli – Daisuke Ito (Team KeePer Tom's), 4th today. The fight will be tight for the title since only eight points separate the top five. Note that Frédéric Makowiecki and Naoki Yamamoto (Weider Modulo Dome Racing) finished 5th in the race and first Honda.
