Ayari and Hernandez in control?

Placed in pole position, Soheil Ayari got the best start and immediately broke away from the peloton made up of Laurent Cazenave, Jean-Philippe Dayraut, Olivier Panis, Laurent Groppi and Sébastien Loeb.

We had to wait until the 15th lap for a change to occur at the head of the race. Behind Ayari who has built up a lead of almost 6??, Laurent Cazenave hangs on with Julien Briché, one lap behind. Le Palois falls to 6th place behind Dayraut, Panis, Groppi and Loeb. On the GT3 side, Mike Parisy leads the debates ahead of Ulric Amado, Tristan Vautier, Frédéric Makowiecki and Antoine Leclerc.

While the halfway mark has just been reached, Laurent Cazenave is the first to return to the pits to hand over the wheel to Jean-Claude Police. A few minutes later, Loeb, Ayari, Panis then Dayraut do the same. DKR is betting on changing the tires of the Dayraut/Merafina Corvette.

At the end of the driver changes, we see things more clearly with Bruno Hernandez (Ayari's teammate) who logically regained the lead ahead of Merafina (Dayraut), Debard (Panis), Bornhauser (Groppi) and Police (Cazenave).

Ange Barde, who had taken over from Sébastien Loeb, ended up in a sandbox fifteen minutes from the end. He managed to return to the pits before resuming the race.

The last quarter of an hour of the race was marked by the fight for 4th place. The Police Corvette finally manages to gain the upper hand over Bornhauser's Saleen, handicapped by 40 kg of additional ballast.

Like the Corvette C6.Rs in GT1, the Lamborghinis Gallardos achieved a solid success in GT3, with the victory of the duo Gaillard/Parisy (Lamborghini Gallardo) ahead of Dubreuil/Amado and Tuchbant/Leclerc.
