BSS – Maxime Martin and Dirk Müller win in Nogaro
After the victory of the Monegasque pair Stéphane Ortelli and Stéphane Richelmi yesterday in the qualifying race, the first main round of the 2015 Blancpain Sprint Series on the Nogaro track in Gers saw the victory of the BMW Z4 of Maxime Martin and Dirk Müller. After a first stint full of mastery from the Belgian who had stolen the lead of the race from Richelmi after the start, the German will initially take over the No. 2 Audi from Mies – Ide (Team WRT), leader after the change of drivers, before resisting Stéphane Ortelli in the final moments of the race to offer a prestigious victory to the Brazilian team.
The podium is completed by the Belgian Enzo Ide, associated with the German Christopher Mies. Maximilian Buhk and Vincent Abril (Team HTP) placed the first Bentley in 4th position. In Pro-Am, Frenchman Christophe Bouchut, associated with Russian Alexey Vasilyev, won the Mercedes SLS AMG from GT Russian Team The Silver Cup went to the Fjordbach brothers (ISR Racing).
