Coronavirus – The two May races postponed

Japan is not immune to the repercussions of the coronavirus epidemic. The Super GT, already forced to cancel at the last minute the Fuji trials and postpone planned opening race in Okayama on April 11 and 12, also postpones the races for the month of May.

This concerns the second and third rounds, scheduled to take place at Fuji and Suzuka on May 3-4 and May 30-31. The announcement was made by the organizer this Monday March 30. “As a result, the events have been postponed due to the prevention of the spread of infections and the health and safety of visitors. »

A new calendar will soon be made official. For now, the first event is scheduled for July 4 and 5 in Buriram (Thailand).
