Ferrari officially unveils its 296 GT3

Ferrari officially unveiled its 296 GT3, brought to replace the venerable 488 GT3 during Grand Touring competitions, during the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Announced last year, Ferrari 296 GT3 has already taken to the track during tests on the Italian manufacturer's private track, in Fiorano, with Alessandro Pier Guidi and Andrea Bertolini at the wheel. While waiting for the first laps in official competition, to imitate the very prolific 488 GT3, Ferrari has clarified the technical specifications of the 296 GT3. The engine powering the beautiful Italian is a 120° V-shaped six-cylinder developing nearly 600 horsepower, with the turbos inside the V, "for the benefit of balancing and lowering the center of gravity", according to Ferrari.
