FFSA- GT – Anthony Beltoise and Laurent Pasquali, in the running after Val de Vienne

Despite a new victory to be credited to Sébastien Loeb Racing, everything was not rosy this weekend at Val de Vienne. And this particularly during the first race, with a puncture 10 minutes from the finish which cut off the momentum of the crew of the McLaren MPA-12C n°8. “Everything should have gone well, but we punctured on a piece of metal picked up in the pit lane! » lamented Pasquali. But Anthony Beltoise, his teammate, knew how to string together fast laps. He thus recovered three places and took 8th position, as well as the points that accompany it.

The second race of the meeting was smoother. The son of Jean-Pierre Beltoise engaged in a shock duel with Morgan Moullin-Traffort (Ferrari 458 Italia n°16 of Sofrev-ASP) to gain first place. A battle which will deliver its verdict on the 21st lap when the Ferrari driver will have to give up to the #8 McLaren. “Finally some result!” We win on a regular basis and Laurent finished the job perfectly at the wheel of a car that is certainly efficient but demanding” congratulated Beltoise. “ I am proud of the young Sébastien Loeb Racing team which has no reason to be ashamed of the track record and experience of Hexis and Art GP. The team has done another great job and we are not giving up! ".

Driving for the last stint, Laurent Pasquali crossed the checkered flag with a dozen seconds in advance: ?Race 2 is much happier thanks to Antho and the whole team. We stay in touch for the championship…” Third in the Drivers' standings, the Parisian crew is still in the running with 6 races remaining.
