FFSA-GT – ART Grand Prix wishes to “stay the course”

No one has had such a good start to the season in this category. Building on a victory at Le Mans, two podiums, a Top 5 anda pole position in four races, Grégoire Demoustier and Ulric Amado currently logically occupy first place at the top of the Drivers' classification. If the road is still long, the two ART Grand Prix drivers hope to continue this dynamic at Spa-Francorchamps, scene of the third GT Tour meeting of the year.

“We will do everything with the team and Grégoire to maintain first place” announces Ulric Amado. “It won’t be easy in the face of strong competition. Given the 2012 results, we were hoping to be competitive, but perhaps not as early in the season. We must stay the course at Spa, a circuit which should suit the McLaren (MP4-12C GT3, Editor’s note) and that I appreciate. This is surely everyone’s opinion! This is an important moment in the championship. We need to score big points during the first rounds to approach the second part of the season more calmly. It's a difficult circuit, where you need a big heart. The differences can be significant. » Second in the Team Trophy, Fred Vasseur's team can also count on its second car, entrusted to the hands of Gilles Vannelet and Antoine Leclerc. After a complicated opening weekend on the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans at the end of April, the duo was able to climb back into the top five after a good meeting at Imola, in Italy.
