FFSA GT-C1: Second success for StratégiC

After having imposed itself in Val de Vienne during the summer, the stable of Yves Courage, Strategy, took advantage of the second trip outside France of the year to Navarra in Spain to once again climb to the top of the podium.

After starting from pole position, Nicolas Misslin immediately lost control of the race against the other 911 GT3 R of IMSA Performance, driven in the first stint by Olivier Pernaut. If the latter detached, the safety car deployed following the stop at the side of the track Ferrari 458 Italia n°6 by Eric Cayrolle (Sport Garage), ruined his efforts.

After the first change of drivers, Sébastien Dumez could do nothing against the onslaught of Sacha Bottemanne which widened an almost decisive gap for victory, since Benjamin Lariche retained his lead over Raymond Narac in the final moments of the event.

Lonni Martins (Audi R8 LMS ultra? Sébastien Loeb Racing) took third place just ahead of his teammate Mike Parisy. The poor performance of the No. 458 Ferrari 6 Italia of the Lémeret-Cayrolle-Santamato trio benefits the Narac-Dumez-Pernaut crew which increases its lead in the championship.

The second race will take place tomorrow from 13:55 p.m.
