FFSA GT-C2: IMSA champion, Loeb Racing concludes in style

Crowned last year during the Var final, the Team IMSA Performance renewed its performance in 2015 with the trio’s coronation Raymond Narac, Olivier Pernaut and Sébastien Dumez. In difficulty yesterday, after an accident in qualifying, the crew of the Porsche 911 GT3 R n°1 had limited the damage by retaining control of the championship, before a final duel against the Ferrari 458 Italia n°20 by Morgan Moullin-Traffort and Jean-Luc Beaubelique, associated with Rino Mastronardi.

But the first meters of the Sunday final, the residents of Team AKKA-ASP were quickly eliminated in a contact in the melee of the first round which eliminated numerous competitors including the RS 01 of Team Duqueine.

Despite a race not free from complications, including contact with a pile of tires, the Normandy Porsche 911 crossed the finish line in eighth position, enough to secure a second title in a row for Raymond Narac, after his title obtained in 2014 with Nicolas Armindo.

This last race smiled on Sébastien Loeb Racing who signs a nice double with Mike Parisy's No. 8 Audi R3 LMS ultra? David Hallyday? Philippe Gaillard which precedes Christophe Hamon's sister car? Christian Bottemanne? Lonni Martins. Sport Garage completes the podium with the No. 458 F12 Italia of Gilles Vannelet? Enzo Guibbert? Paul Lamic.

The other 2015 titles were won by Valentin Simonet (Saintéloc) in the Junior Challenge, and David Loger and Eric Mouez in the Gentlemen Challenge.
