FFSA GT-C2: Loeb Racing confirms at Magny-Cours

The Val de Vienne meeting in July allowed the Sébastien Loeb Racing to put an end to the misfortune that has struck the team of the nine-time world rally champion since the start of the season in Lédenon (Gard). Winner for the first time of the year, the trio Parisy-Hallyday-Gaillard avait permis à Audi de s’immiscer au palmarès au côté de Porsche et Ferrari in 2015.

The Magny-Cours event confirmed this return to the forefront. Starting from pole, and despite a delicate start for Palois Mike Parisy, Audi R8 n°3 will return to the front to score its second success of the year ahead of the No. 458 Ferrari 36 Italia from Team Duqueine and the No. 20 from Team AKKA-ASP.

At the championship level, the fight continues between Sports Garage and IMSA Performance, with an advantage to the Porsche 911 GT3 R from the Rouen team during this second round, the Pernaut-Dumez-Narac team finishing 4th and retaining the lead in the classification, recovered yesterday for a point against the No. 6 Ferrari from Cayrolle-Santamato-Lémeret.
