FFSA GT – Sébastien Loeb Racing without pressure at Paul-Ricard

With 40 points behind the leaders of the French Championship FFSAGT, Pernaut-Narac-Dumez, the trio of Audi n°3 entered by Sébastien Loeb Racing composed of David Hallyday, Mike Parisy and Philippe Gaillard will approach the final of the season played on October 24 and 25 at Paul-Ricard (Var) free of all pressure.

“It would be a lie to say that we don’t think about it”, admits Philippe Gaillard. “Even if the pressure is always present in motorsport, this position of outsider frees us, at least for my part, because there will be no calculation, just attack. To appear as high as possible in the rankings, we have no other choice than aim for the top step of the podium every time. The circuit is interesting, the place pleasant, we will be supported by many partners? This final atmosphere motivates us to achieve very good results and end this great season in style. »

Sébastien Loeb Racing will also be able to count on the No. 8 R5 LMS ultra entrusted to Lonni Martins, Christophe Hamon and Christian Bottemanne to compete at the forefront. “In Spain (in Navarra, September 26 and 27), we lost 40 seconds in a spin and a penalty, but managed to finish in 3rd position. Without this delay, we could have finished victorious under the checkered flag. We can now legitimately claim it. Our end of the season is in any case very positive”, added Christophe Hamon.

The GT Tour final at Paul-Ricard will be followed live streaming on AUTOhebdo.fr.
