La Toyota GR Supra GT4 semble en grande condition sur ce tracé réduit du Paul Ricard. En tête de la première séance d’essais libres et troisième à moins d’un dixième lors de la seconde séance, Aurélien Panis a signé la pole position lors de la Q1.

Thanks to a time of 1'31''505, the Frenchman put more than five tenths behind the rest of the field in the Toyota Gazoo Racing by CMR car. We can add to this performance the tenth position overall of Wilfried Cazalbon, who drives the Japanese manufacturer's Am car. He will start from pole in his category.

In a session where the Pro-Am crews chose to run their amateurs, the silvers took the top spot. Behind Panis, Edouard Cauhaupé took second position.

The pilot of the Mercedes-AMG from CD Sport carries out a good operation in view of the championship since its rival Ricardo Van der Ende in the BMW of Espace Bienvenue only ranks seventh overall and fifth in the silver category. As a reminder, five points separate the two crews in the standings. Robert Consani completes the trifecta with theAlpine from Speed ​​Car.

In Pro-Am, Christopher Campbell was the fastest at the wheel of theAlpine A110 n°36 of CMR with a time of 1'32''182. The crew still has a small chance of the title but as usual, Fabien Michal, the undisputed leader, did the job.

He placed his No. 42 Saintéloc Audi in 6th place overall, second in Pro-Am. And this despite a Friday day without driving. Another contender for the title, Nicolas Gomar will start fourth in the Pro-Am in the seat of theAston Martin n°89 from AGS Events.

In Q2 Adrien Tambay took pole in the No. 27 Saintéloc Audi with a time of 1'31''522. The Pro driver is ahead of Jim Pla in the No. 87 AKKA-ASP Mercedes-AMG by 104 thousandths and Mike Parisy in the No. 89 AGS Events Aston Martin by 156 thousandths.

Le Palois is placed just ahead of his two main opponents in the championship, Nicolas Cheers in theAlpine n°36 of CMR and Grégory Guilvert at the wheel of the Audi n°42 of Saintéloc.

In silver, a freelancer comes to wreak havoc in the hierarchy. Valentin Hasse-Clot, champion of the GT4 European series, places his AGS Events Aston Martin at the head of the category and in fourth position overall. Further on, we find Thomas Drouet and the No. 88 AKKA-ASP Mercedes.

Title contender Fabien Lavergne in the CD Sport Mercedes ranks third while Benjamin Lessennes finds himself 17th overall and fifth in the category at the wheel of the Espace Bienvenue BMW. Finally Olivier Panis achieved the 20th time overall.

In Am, the CMR Toyota once again achieved the best time with César Gazeau at the wheel in a session that was much more competitive than the first. Twenty cars are in fact in the same second.
