Alain Ferté and Jim Pla took the two poles for the Nogaro Easter Cup races, opening of the 2021 FFSA GT French Championship.

Bodemer Auto and AKKA-ASP on pole in the Gers

Under the Gers sun, the first two pole positions of the 2021 season in France championship FFSAGT returned to Alain Ferté (Alpine A110 GT4 n°35 – Bodemer Auto) and Jim Pla (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°87 – AKKA-ASP).

Dominator of the Pro-Am category, Alain Ferté offered himself the Gers Q1 and Sunday's pole by setting the best time in 1'32″732, 0″125 ahead of Enzo Joulié (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°74 – CD Sport), who took pole in the Silver Cup and 0″169 ahead of Paul Evrard (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°88 – AKKA-ASP) .

Romain Leroux hoists his Aston Martin Vantage GT4 n°7 – AGS Events in fourth position ahead of Nelson Lukes (Ginetta G55 GTN n°23 – K-Works). In the Am Cup, Pascal Huteau dominates the category with the No. 8 Audi R4 LMS GT5 – Fullmotorsport ahead of Didier Dumaine (No. 4 Aston Martin Vantage GT161 – AGS Events).

In Q2, Jim Pla (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°87 – AKKA-ASP), lined up in Pro-Am, came to dislodge Vincent Beltoise (Alpine A110 GT4 n°13 – Mirage Racing), by signing the reference in 1'32″136, 38 thousandths ahead of Beltoise.

Gaël Castelli confirms the good performance of Mirage Racing by hoisting theAlpine n°222 in third position at 0″197 and precedes Simon Gachet (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°81 – AKKA-ASP). Valentin Hasse-Clot finished 5th in his No. 4 Aston Martin Vantage GT7 – AGS Events and took pole in Silver.

In the Am Cup, Christophe Hamon (Audi R8 LMS GT4 n°5 Fullmotorsport) allowed his team to score a double in these qualifications. The two FFSA GT races will take place on Sunday and Monday from 13:50 p.m. and will be followed live on video on our website.
