CD Sport unveils its four GT4 crews

CD Sport will field four cars in FFSAGT in 2021. The formation of Laurent Cazenave and Claude Degrémont will first want to take their revenge in the silver category, where they narrowly missed the title in 2020 with the duo Edouard Cauhaupé and Fabien Lavergne.

This season, the crew of the Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°74 will be entirely new to the championship. Haut-Savoyard Sébastien Baud, titled in the Mitjet 2 liters and in the Ligier European Series in 2020, will team up with 16-year-old driver Enzo Joulié, 13th in F4 Spain last year for his car debut. They will also compete in GT4 Europe.

“With these two very good young people, we are starting a new cycle, as we were able to do with Arthur Rougier and Edouard Cauhaupé in 2019,” comments Laurent Cazenave. We will first help them learn the trade and become professional.”

In Pro-Am, the crew of car #2 is much better known. Edouard Cauhaupé, who will compete this season in theELMS with United Autosports in LM P3, will be associated in FFSA GT with Jean-Ludovic Foubert, who had little success last year alongside Clément Bully. “I am convinced that Jean-Ludo is at the level of the best Am drivers, according to Laurent Cazenave. This dual program can only strengthen it. Edouard will have a role as captain on the French side. He knows the house, the car and the championship like the back of his hand.” The amateur driver will also compete in GT4 Europe associated with Hugo Chevalier (20 years old).

In the Am category, CD Sport is renewing the Lebanese duo Shahan Sarkissian and Jihad Aboujaoudé. Finally, a final crew will compete in Am or Pro-Am depending on the identity of Bronze driver Paul Paranthoen's teammate.
