FFSA GT – 37 GT4s on the provisional entry list at Nogaro

After the successful revival in 2017, the French Championship FFSAGT continues its momentum in 2018 with a GT4 category in good shape. After the 47 cars lined up throughout the year in the GT4 European Series, the French series will be able to count on a provisional list of 37 crews for the opening of the season at the Easter Cups in Nogaro (Gers).

Mike Parisy, champion en titre avec Gilles Vannelet en 2017, défendra sa couronne au volant d’un Porsche Cayman Clubsport GT4 exploité par CD Sport, et sera associé cette année à Christophe Stone, multiple Gentlemen champion in the Porsche Carrera Cup in recent years.

If we will find the regulars of 2017 with the Porsche Cayman ofIMSA Performance, Vic'Team and Racing Technology or the Ginetta G55s from Team SpeedCar or the CMR team (with Stéphane Tribaudini, crowned in Am in 2017 and who climbs into Pro-Am alongside Pierre-Alexandre Jean), the most important new features most anticipated will come from the return of AKKA-ASP on the national scene with two Mercedes-AMG GT4 for the Beaubelique – Pla and Ricci – Drouet duos.

The latest Mercedes will also be entered by Muller Racing with two examples for Ehrlacher – Bardinon and Rabreau – Leherpeur. Audi and the R8 LMS GT4 will be represented by Saintéloc Racing with three cars (including Anthony Beltoise and Grégory Guilvert), while BMW Team France, TFT and 3Y Technology will trust the M4 GT4.

Several new structures, such as Cool Racing, Orhes Racing (with Olivier Pernaut, 2015 French FFSA GT champion), AGS Events will be there in the Gers.

The Easter Cups will begin on Friday April 30 with private testing, with a Prologue day planned the day before. The races will be contested on the Sunday and Monday of the Easter weekend.
