FFSA GT – Ferté and Beltoise in pole position at Nogaro

The Porsche Cayman Clubsport GT4 dominated the first qualifiers of the year in FFSAGT on the Gers route of Nogaro. Aligned with the copy of Energy by ART, Alain Ferté, associated with Grégoire Demoustier, was the fastest in the first decisive session for race 1 which will be contested this Sunday.

With a time achieved in 1'33″457, the former French champion F3 narrowly ahead of Olivier Jouffret (Vic'Team – Porsche Cayman), beaten by 81 thousandths. The top three in Q1 is completed by the first Ginetta G55 of Team SpeedCar of Rodolphe Wallgren and Gaël Castelli, however more than seven tenths behind. Pierre Sancinéna and Jim Pla (Racing Technology – Porsche Cayman) and the tandem Paul and Jean-Philippe Lamic (Vic'Team – Ginetta G55) enter the top 5.

THEAston Martin Vantage Street-Art Racing of Eric Cayrolle and Arno Santamato, ninth, is the only car other than Porsche and Ginetta to make it into the top 10 of this Q1.

Martinet by Alméras scores double in Q2

For its return to the French FFSA GT Championship, Philippe Alméras' team will monopolize the first row of the starting grid for the second race contested tomorrow, Monday. Anthony Beltoise remembered the good memories of his rivals by setting the best time in 1'32″888, 127 thousandths ahead of Steven Palette's sister car.

Grégory Guilvert (Saintéloc Racing – Porsche Cayman) is the closest pursuer of the two Cayman Alméras, and is at 0″202. The driver from the Saint-Etienne team precedes the Porsche Cayman of Jimmy Antunes, associated with Franck Leherpeur (Racing Technology), and the example of Morgan Moullin-Traffort, in a duo with David Hallyday at CD Sport.

Behind the 5% Porsche top 100, Stéphane Tribaudini hoists the first Ginetta G55 – CMR into sixth position at 290 thousandths. The peloton remains grouped together since sixteen cars are grouped in the same second at the end of this second session.
