FFSA GT – IMSA Performance tackles Pro-Am

IMSA Performance has unveiled its program for the FFSAGT.

The 2013 champion of the Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup France leaves Martinet by Alméras with whom it also competed last year in VdeV Endurance Series and in the Porsche Supercup.

“I’m happy to be back in GT4 France this year with IMSA, comments Steven Palette. With Franck (Rava, the team manager), we are on the same wavelength, and I am impatient to discover the team and motivated by the idea of doing the season with them. »

“I had the opportunity to meet Mickaël several times in the paddocks last year, we got along well and it was quite natural that I accepted this collaboration. He is someone who seems extremely motivated to work and who demonstrates great tenacity. He needs to be advised, and it is up to me to guide and lead him. He did very good things last year, and if I can give him the right instructions, I think we can have good results. Our goal is to play up front, and we will give 100%! », added the new recruit.

“I am happy to be able to unite a successful crew, added Franck Rava. The team is delighted to be present in GT4 France and hopes to face the competition and honor our previous French champion titles. Indeed, the GT4 European Series is evolving and this year we are being announced more cars and manufacturers. Our number one objective is above all to be consistent throughout the season, to achieve a top final result. But a lot of work awaits us! »

IMSA Performance could still field a second Cayman GT4 if it manages to bring together a second crew, which would allow it to fight for the Teams title. The French team specifies that it also has a 991 GT3 R to race internationally.
