FFSA GT – Jim Pla and Pierre Sancinéna win in Barcelona

“We weren't playing the championship so there wasn't much to lose by attacking, commented Pierre Sancinena. Our only objective was to achieve a good result. There was something to be done given Jim's pace. I was really comfortable in the car. Even if it was not won at the start of the weekend, the team found a very good setting so a big thank you to them! »

By completing the podium, the CD Sport crew of the No. 30 composed of Gilles Vannelet and Mike Parisy reduced its gap on Championship leaders Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche whose Ginetta G55 No. 8 Speed ​​Car finished in sixth place ahead of the #4 Ekris BMW M9 from BMW Team France driven by Julien Piguet and Frédéric Johais. The Bavarian car took the lead of the race at the start from 11th position, but Julien Piguet received a drive-through for early departure.

In the Am category, victory went to the #34 Maserati Gran Turismo of GP 34 by Gemo Motorsport entrusted to Philippe Marie and Olivier Gomez who took the lead in the category on the last lap against the #6 BMW of Lagniez-Depauw.

The FFSA GT final will be contested the weekend of October 15 at Paul-Ricard (Var).
