Winner of Race 1 of FFSAGT at Lédenon on Saturday, can the #8 Saintéloc Racing Audi R4 LMS GT14 achieve the pass of 2 this Sunday in Gard?

Associated with Roee Meyuhas, Erwan Bastard starts in pole position after dominating the second qualifying session on Saturday morning. Barely started, the session in question was interrupted by the red flag, the Audi #777 having spilled coolant over a large part of the track. After a work session by the track marshals, who had to put an absorbent product on the asphalt, the drivers could finally leave.

And while there were fears of dust on the track, Erwan Bastard hit very hard with the #8 Audi R4 LMS GT14 from Saintéloc Racing. The leader of the Silver Cup championship lapped in 1'25''026, thus taking back the circuit record with a GT4 to his name.

Second overall, Rudy Servol (Alpine A110 GT4 #36 – CMR) scored the bonus point for pole position in the Pro-Am category, the duo he forms with Nicolas Cheers therefore increasing the gap to 22 points compared to the Éric Trémoulet-Olivier Jouffret pair.

In 7th place, Fabien Lavergne successfully returned to the Mercedes-AMG #2 from CD Sport by being faster than Romain Carton (Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 #74 – Racing Spirit of Léman), Hugo Chevalier (Mercedes-AMG GT4 #87 – Akkodis-ASP) and Christopher Campbell (Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport #121 – K-Worx).

Championship leader in Am Cup, Michaël Blanchemain (Audi R8 LMS GT4 #69 – Team Fullmotorsport) scored the bonus point for pole position in the category after a very competitive session. He was just 5 hundredths of a second ahead of Florent Grizaud (Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 #72 – GPA Racing) and Christophe Carrière (Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 #161 – AGS Events).

The top 5 in the category was completed by Jean-Laurent Navarro (Mercedes-AMG GT4 #238 – JSB Compétition) and David Levy (Alpine A110 GT4 #110 – CMR).
