If they had the ambition to win during the Easter Cups in Nogaro, Rudy Servol and Nicolas Cheers had not started the weekend in the best way. With the 6e chrono of qualifications for Race 1, the men of theAlpine CMR's A100 GT4 No. 36 knew that a difficult task awaited them if they wanted to claim victory this Sunday.
The start of the race also did not help them since Roee Meyuhas (Saintéloc Racing – Audi R8 LMS GT4 No. 14) led the way and was not disturbed by the two interventions of the Safety Car after the Audi went off the track R8 LMS GT4 N°6 of Full Motorsport andAlpine A110 GT4 No. 11 from Mirage Racing.
It was therefore during the refueling that everything was decided. If he led the 2 for a long timee relay, Erwan Bastard, teammate of Roee Meyuhas, saw theAlpine A100 GT4 No. 36 driven by Rudy Servol went up like an arrow in the last 20 minutes. It was then that the battle for victory between the two men began.
On the defensive Erwan Bastard finally gave in less than a quarter of an hour from the checkerboard against Rudy Servol. Freed from Saintéloc's Audi, the CMR driver then set his pace and gradually let go of his rival to cross the finish line with almost 4 seconds ahead of the Saint-Etienne duo who left with the victory in Silver. Left since 3e position, the Santamato-Wallgreen duo retained their property but was never able to contest the victory.
In Am, victory went to brothers Pierre-Arnaud and Jean-Laurent Navarro aboard theAlpine A110 GT4 No. 138 from JSB Compétition.
