FFSA GT – Olivier Pernaut back in 2018 with Audi

Sacré champion de France en 2015 avec la Porsche 911 GT3 R d’IMSA Performance, Olivier Pernaut will make his full-time return in FFSAGT in 2018. Via his Orhes Racing structure, of which he is the Team Manager, the son of Jean-Pierre Pernaut, will enter an Audi R8 LMS GT4 in the Am category, in which he will share the seat with Philippe Marie.

The duo competed together last year in the Maserati of the GP34 by Gemo Sport in Dijon and at Paul-Ricard. “We have been teammates for many years since Philippe started car racing at Orhes Racing in Fun Cup, then in Nascar Whelen Euroseries, and finally in Lamera Cup and Mitjet 2L, explains Olivier Pernaut.

We have therefore shared the cars on numerous occasions, with victories, podiums, but also more difficult moments. We therefore know each other perfectly, which is a strong point for attacking a championship with complete peace of mind.

There were a lot of Porsches and Ginettas last year, we wanted to stand out with the entry of this new Audi. In addition, we are certain of the reliability and technical support of the brand with the rings. We will try to play at the forefront in the Am category.”

Orhes Racing is one of the new teams to make its debut in FFSA GT this year, including Yvan Muller Racing, which will field two Mercedes-AMG GT4.
