FFSA GT – Stéphane Tribaudini unexpected winner in Dijon

The GT4 category will have reserved some very competitive races for the return of the French Championship FFSAGT on the Dijon-Prenois circuit. After the first victory of the Martinet by Alméras yesterday with the Steven Palette – Henry Hassid tandem, the Sunday race smiled on the amateur pilot Stéphane Tribaudini, lined up on the Ginetta G55 n°111 – CMR.

Tribaudini concludes in style

Restarting in the lead, Hassid controls the peloton, which evolves for a time under Full Course Yellow regime, the time to free the n°4 Porsche Cayman GT11 – Racing Technology of Franck Leherpeur from the gravel trap. At the relaunch, the former resident of Sébastien Loeb Racing was quickly surprised by the No. 4 BMW M9 Ekris – BMW Team France of Frédéric Johais, who took advantage of the powerful German engine to pass at the start of the straight.

But the latter will have to return to the pit lane to carry out a drive-through, for a change of drivers carried out outside the regulatory window. At the head of the race, Hassid sees Stéphane Tribaudini, who is riding solo on the Ginetta G55 n°111 – CMR in the Am category, come back like a cannonball.

The leader first lost time in an error at the end of the pit straight before being unable to prevent his pursuer from taking control of the race seven minutes from the finish. Tribaudini will no longer be joined, while Hassid loses the podium following a left rear puncture in the very last moments.

Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche (Ginetta G55 n°8 – Team SpeedCar) and theAston Martin Vantage n°117 – StreetArt Racing of Arno Santamato and Eric Cayrolle complete the podium.
