Fullmotorsport and Saintéloc Racing on pole at Magny-Cours

Sacha Bottemane and Anthony Beltoise were the fastest this Saturday afternoon in Nièvre to win the poles of the two races of the FFSAGT on the Magny-Cours circuit, and demonstrated that it will be necessary to reckon with the Audi R8 LMS GT4 this week-end.

The first city once again highlighted its peak speed in Q1, by raising its Audi n°6 – Fullmotorsport in the lead in 1’45″567 (best time in Silver Cup), but the gaps remained small for pole.

Mateo Herrero (Alpine A110 GT4 n°110 – CMR) fails just 40 thousandths behind the best time, when Alain Ferté places theAlpine A110 GT4 n°35 – Bodemer Auto at 56 thousandths, to take pole in Pro-Am.

Christophe Hamon finished 4th with the No. 5 Audi of Team Fullmotorsport, while dominating the Am category, just ahead of Paul Evrard (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°88 – AKKA-ASP), the latter causing a red flag in the final seconds after leaving the track.

Note that theAston Martin Vantage GT4 n°8 – JSB of Jean-Laurent Navarro and Julien Briché did not take part in this Q1 session, before returning to the track in Q2.

In Q2 precisely, Anthony Beltoise (Audi R8 LMS GT4 n°21 – Saintéloc Racing), already pole-sitter here last year and entered in Pro-Am, signed a record time for the category in Nièvre, in 1'44″782. Here again the gaps were reduced, since Simon Gachet (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°81 – AKKA-ASP) failed at 70 thousandths.

Eric Trémoulet places his No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT64 – Vic'Team by Jouffruit in third position, more than three tenths ahead of Jim Pla (No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT87 – AKKA-ASP). Followed by the two Audi R8 LMS GT4s #14 of Adrien Tambay and #42 of Grégory Guilvert.

Pole in the Silver Cup goes to Enzo Joulié (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°74 – CD Sport), while Lauris Nauroy (Aston Martin Vantage GT4 n°79 – AGS Events) dominates the Am classification. Note several time cancellations for overtaking of track limits.

Race 1 will take place this evening from 20 p.m. and can be followed live video on our website.
