Jean and Lémeret impose themselves on their Alpine in Lédenon

Alpine was at the party this weekend in Lédenon (Gard). After Ferté-Demoustier's victory in Race 1, it was Pierre-Alexandre Jean and Stéphane Lémeret who won the second race of the weekend. The first city took the lead of the race at the start by overtaking three cars, while the sister car n°9 of Hernandez-Ayari which started from pole retired quickly following ABS problems.

Despite a ten-second penalty in the pits, Pierre-Alexandre Jean had built up a sufficient lead to allow his teammate Stéphane Lémeret to return to the front while theAlpine n°919 Mirage Racing from Lison-Beltoise received a stop & go of 3 seconds for a driving time that was not respected.

An interruption in the race closed the places in the peloton and offered a nice battle between theAlpine n°111 CMR of Servol-Tribaudini and the Mercedes-AMG n°88 AKKA-ASP of Ricci-Drouet who ultimately had to settle for the last step of the podium.

Fabien Michal and Grégory Guilvert saved the furniture by completing the Top 5 in their No. 8 Audi R42 LMS which ranked behind theAlpine n°76 of Bodemer Auto led by the duo N. Cheers-Redele. The Saintéloc Racing crew lost the lead in the championship, one point behind the day's winners.

The race caused several victims, including the abandonment of the No. 87 AKKA-ASP Mercedes from Beaubelique-Pla which was sent into a spin.

It was the Ginetta n°22 K-Worx from Huteau-Simonet which won in the Am category.
