THEAlpine n°36 CMR wins at Spa

THEAlpine No. 36 from the CMR team won its 4th victory of the season in FFSAGT by winning Race 1 at Spa-Francorchamps. Starting from pole, Stéphane Lémeret retained the advantage until the race was interrupted following the exit of the A110 n°111 CMR of Rudy Servol.

Julien Piguet, who replaced Laurent Hurgon in the No. 4 BMW M3, took advantage of the safety car to take the lead of the race, but the BMW Team France driver was quickly caught by theAlpine n ° 36.

The BMW finally slipped to the foot of the podium, also being caught by theAlpine n°919 of Mirage Racing of Vincent Beltoise and Benoit Lison, while it is theAston Martin n°44 entrusted to Matthew George who completed the podium by being invited as a wildcard.

The winning team took the lead in the championship against the Saintéloc Racing drivers, Fabien Michal and Grégory Guilvert in the No. 42 Audi, who failed to reach the Top 10.
