Laurent Cazenave: “We played the youth card”

En FFSAGT, your Silver crew Sébastien Baud-Enzo Julié has an average age of 18 years. What can he aim for?

This season, we played the youth card. Our four fast drivers are between 16 and 20 years old. At the start of the season, we will have to teach them to accept that they are facing drivers with more tanks, and therefore that they will perhaps be a little behind. But from this summer, we will have goals of podiums and victories.

In Pro-Am, if Edouard Cauhaupé shone last year, Jean-Ludovic Foubert was much more discreet. What can we expect from the duo?

With Hugo Chevalier in Europe and Edouard in France, Jean-Ludovic has two teammates who will act as sporting and technical captains. Edouard will gain momentum this year, he knows the team, the championship, the car... Jean-Ludo drove very well at the start of the season, then he lost a little motivation, because he couldn't play in front . But he was better than Beaubelique in qualifying and rivaled Nicolas Gomar. This is a crew that is going to make podiums. Same thing in Europe with Hugo.

What will be the role of Edouard Cauhaupé off the track?

Just like Hugo, he will have to pull the team and our young people to the top, as well as our amateurs who are Shahan Sarkissian-Jihad Aboujaoudé and Paul Paranthoen-Aurélien Robineau, whom he knows well. Both are well-rounded. It will not be a problem for them to take on this role.
