The FFSA GT confirms its 2020 calendar

Following the reopening of circuits in France, SRO Motorsports Group has published the new calendar for FFSAGT for the 2020 season.

The dates of the meetings have been revised with the coronavirus pandemic. The trip to Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) was replaced by a 3rd race organized in Nogaro (Gers) and Paul Ricard (Var).

It will be the Easter Cups postponed to August which will get the ball rolling after two days of official tests planned for the end of June and beginning of July behind closed doors.

“The four-month delay of this event will make it possible to meet the logistical and organizational challenges, so that the cream of the French GT can display the Gers track during these essential reunions”, said the organizer of the GT championship.

The season will then resume in September at Magny-Cours (Nièvre), then the paddock will travel to Paul-Ricard (Var) and Albi (Tarn) in October. “with a desire from all parties (…) to restore the Grand Prix d’Albi to its former glory”. The final will be organized in Lédenon (Gard) in November.

SRO Motorsports Group has specified that it will produce its own health protocol, in compliance with government and FFSA protocols.
