Panis and Piguet confirmed at CMR

For its crew, Toyota Gazoo Racing France by CMR decided to call on an experienced duo. In fact, the GR Supra GT4 was put in the hands of Aurélien Panis, son of Olivier, and Julien Piguet. A pair with which Charly Boucharot's team is aiming for the Silver Cup, introduced this year in the French FFSA GT Championship.

After having learned his lessons in promotional formulas, Aurélien Panis has been racing in GT for a year. This year, the Frenchman will split his calendar between the GT World Challenge Europe at the wheel of the Lexus RC F GT3 and the French FFSA GT Championship with the Toyota GR Supra GT4.

Julien Piguet knows the category well since he finished third in the Pro-Am category for his first participation in GT4 in 2017. Toyota Gazoo Racing France by CMR hopes that the experience of the two men can take them to the national coronation at the end of the season.

The start of the season will be given on August 22 at Nogaro during the first race of the French FFSA GT Championship before the second the next day.
