Back behind the wheel of a Alpine for Nelson Panciatici

After 35 years of absence, Alpine made his comeback in Endurance in 2013. The enthusiasm around this project had proven, if necessary, that this legendary brand had not been forgotten. Nelson Panciatici was part of this adventure with a title in the European Le Mans Series only 7 months after his debut at the wheel of theAlpine A440 from the Signatech team. Nelson will stay with Alpine until 2017 with a second consecutive title in the European Le Mans Series and 2 podiums at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

For this season FFSAGT 2023, Nelson returns to the fold at A arrow 10 years after his first race for Alpine. Associated with Loris Cabirou, he will compete in the French GT FFSA Championship at the wheel of an A110 GT4 from the CMR team. A solid crew to already be ranked among the favorites for the title in the premier Silver Cup category.

The competition will be tough but Nelson is confident: “I am very satisfied to be able to get back behind the wheel of a Alpine 10 years after our title won together! I know it will be difficult but I will benefit from the experience and technical quality of the CMR team who knows theAlpine. I participated in the development of this car in 2017 and I have a very good feeling about it, its qualities no longer need to be demonstrated and it suits me really well. It's up to us to put everything in order to make the most of it. I would like to thank the Studio Alpine Boulogne and the Center Alpine RRG Nice, without forgetting Pro'Lubs Q8Oils which allowed me to return to the universe Alpine. The first tests in Dijon allowed us to see that we were able to play in front regularly. A next session awaits us in Nogaro to enrich our preparation, we will have to be ready from the start to take the right carriage! »

Car racing is an experience that is shared between enthusiasts. To do this, QR Codes on the bodywork will allow everyone to experience the Nelson season from the inside.

Nelson will start the season in 21 days at Nogaro on the Paul Armagnac circuit for the famous Easter Cups. Nice nod to his rich past at Alpine, the car will carry the number 36 which he has driven to victory so many times.
