Saintéloc wins the qualifiers at Magny-Cours

Saintéloc Racing dominated the two qualifying sessions for the French FFSA GT Championship at Magny-Cours (Nièvre).

Saintéloc wins the qualifiers at Magny-Cours

Fabien Michal (Audi) took pole by setting a time of 1'47''463 for a hundredth advantage over Sylvain Noel (Porsche) and Pierre Sancinena (Alpine). Championship leader Robert Consani (Ginetta) took 8th place while his direct rival Jean Beaubelique (Mercedes) only took 21st position.

 

 

Lonni Martins (Audi) scored the first pole of his career for Race 2. The Saintéloc Racing resident preceded Grégory Guilvert's sister car No. 7 by 5 hundredths on pole for the first round. Soheil Ayari (Alpine) will share the second row of the grid with the BMW M4 of Julien Piguet. Benjamin Lariche lifted the #8 Ginetta he shares with Robert Consani into 14th place, far behind the rival #87 Mercedes from the AKKA-ASP team led by Jim Pla who will start from 6th position.
