GT FFSA – David Hallyday on the edge in C2

The sky fell on the head of the GT Tour this Sunday at Val de Vienne. Downpours which notably led to the interruption of the raceEndurance en Supertourisme. En GT, la pluie a indirectement joué son rôle dans la victoire finale puisque si Philippe Giauque dominait la course à quelques tours du but, suite à un premier relais impeccable de Morgan Moullin-Traffort, passé en tête après avoir passé virilement la Porsche de Nicolas Armindo, la panne d’essuie-glace sur la Ferrari 458 Italia, hampered the Swiss at the end of the relay. This was partly benefited by David Hallyday (Saintéloc Racing), author of a great end of the race to pass Giauque at the exit of the penultimate corner. Beaten, but finally at the finish on Sunday, Morgan Moullin-Traffort and Philippe Giauque finished 2nd in front of the sister car of Eric Debard and Olivier Panis (Sofrev-ASP).

In the Coupe de France GT, Team Duqueine once again won thanks to GIlles Duqueine and Philippe Colançon, authors of their sixth success of the season. In the general classification, the Guilvert-Hallyday duo took the lead ahead of Raymond Narac and Nicolas Armindo, again on pole this Sunday, but in difficulty, as during the first round on Saturday and who only finished 7th. The Sebastian Loeb Racing still dominates the Teams ranking at mid-season.

The next GT Tour meeting will take place on September 6 and 7 in Magny-Cours in Nièvre.
