GT FFSA – Guilvert delights Magny-Cours

The first race of the 4th round of the GT FFSA at Magny-Cours produced a breathtaking finale as the victory was decided in the last corner of the last lap. Grégory Guilvert, on the Saintéloc Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra, braked at the Lycée turn at Anthony Beltoise (Porsche 997 GT3 R – Pro GT by Alméras) who couldn't resist. Less than four tenths behind, Morgan Moullin-Traffort took 3rd place on the podium in the Ferrari F458 from the Sofrev-ASP ​​team. “ With ten laps to go, I didn't think I could catch up with the two leaders, explained Guilvert. I attacked and the team told me it was possible. I had a big finish and Anthony (Beltoise) was very sporty ».

The first quarter of the race was disrupted by clashes between Beaubelique (Ferrari 458 Sofrev-ASP) and Gabillon (Mercedes SLS-AMG Loeb Racing), then Debard (Ferrari 458 Sofrev-ASP) and Hallyday (Audi R8 LMS ultra – Team Audi France), who annihilated the chances of serious candidates for victory. The crash of Jean-Claude Police (Porsche 997 GT3 R – Pro GT by Alméras) then required the intervention of the Safety car.

At the end of this first round of the Nivernais weekend, Beltoise and Hassid took back control of the championship from Panis and Debard. The start of the second race is scheduled for this Sunday at 14:15 p.m.
