GT FFSA – IMSA, proof by two in qualifying

Sous un ciel menaçant mais encore clément dans la Vienne, la Porsche 911 GT3 R of the Team IMSA Performance showed itself to its advantage during the two qualifying rounds this Saturday. For the first race contested this evening at 19:10 p.m., it was the boss Raymond Narac who took pole position ahead of the Ferrari 458 Italia du Sport Garage by Gilles Vannelet. The Audi R8 LMS ultra of Henry Hassid (Sébastien Loeb Racing) did not take advantage of his very last attempt to dislodge the 458 Italia and failed in 3rd position. This is the third pole for Narac in this exercise.

For Sunday's race, the Porsche from the IMSA team once again showed its speed in the hands of Nicolas Armindo, author of the pole ahead of the reigning French champion Ferrari of Morgan Moullin-Traffort (Team Sofrev-ASP) and the Audi R8 LMS ultra from Sébastien Loeb Racing led by Mike Parisy. Anthony Beltoise will start alongside his teammate in the team of the nine-time world rally champion. Note the exit from the track of Soheil Ayari (Team Duqueine) who ended his session in the gravel trap after a tire fell off his Ferrari 458 Italia.
