GT Tour – Duqueine achieves the double

Valentin Simonet, Pierre Sancinena and Sébastien Dumez won again at the Nogaro Easter Cups (Gers) by winning Race 2 of the GT Tour meeting. The No. 3 Ligier JS P36 won 38 seconds ahead of the No. 31 Oak Racing car driven by Claude Dégremont, Tony Samon and Tristan Gommendy, who was unable to return to fight for the lead. race due to a stop & go imposed for failure to respect the time limit in the pits.

Team Duqueine could have achieved the double, but the No. 35 from Panciatici-Comte-Duqueine retired. Nelson Panciatici was fighting at the front when he suffered a broken gearbox, after being surprised by the oil spilled by the Ferrari n°5 of Martins-Bottemanne-Hamon, victim of a mechanical breakdown, also entered by Team Duqueine.

CMR by Sport Garage won in GT while completing the podium with the #458 Ferrari 30 Italia of Paul Lamic, Romain Brandela and Arno Santamato despite a penalty for not respecting the time limit in the pits. The winners are one second ahead of the sister car of Laurent Pasquali, Nicolas Tardif and Soheil Ayari.
