GT Tour FFSA – Pro GT continues success

The Ruffier Racing driver had the right strategy as the Porche 997 GT3 RSR took the lead again with Gabriel Abergel now leading the race. However, David Hallyday (R8 LMS Team Audi France) managed to overtake the No. 11 to take the lead with 22 minutes to go. Henry Hassid, Anthony Beltoise's teammate, moves up the positions after the pit stop to get up to the new leader and try to overtake him by briefly leaving the track. This maneuver benefits the second Porsche of Pro GT by Alméras driven by Laurent Pasquali who takes the lead ahead of the Ferrari 458 Italia Sofrev AFP by Eric Debard.

Laurent Pasquali took the checkered flag less than two seconds ahead of the F458, the other Pro GT Porsche completing the podium. David Hallyday secures a fourth place for Team Audi while the top five is completed by the Mercedes SLS n°17 of Sébastien Loeb Racing driven by Frédéric Gabillon and Gilles Vannelet. The winners leave the Dijon-Presnois circuit at the top of the Championship, one point ahead of Panis-Debard. The resumption of hostilities will take place on June 23 and 24 on the Val de Vienne circuit.
