GT Tour – Team N’Race aims for LM P3 in 2016

Since the announcement in Magny-Cours (Nièvre) of the creation of a French Prototype Championship staging the LM P3 in 2016, the teams are currently considering a possible program for next year.

Si Team Duqueine did not wait long before signing the purchase of two Ligier JS P3s, Yvan Muller Racing announced its acquisition of two similar prototypes, without however yet revealing its program.

It is now Team N'Race, particularly used to VdeV Endurance Series, which aims for a presence in LM P3, a Ligier JS P3 having already been ordered. “We will, at a minimum, start on a double program, consisting of the VdeV and the FFSA Prototypes French Championship, on the GT Tour, explains Olivier Virolle, manager of the training created in 2013 on the GT Tour site.

We will run the two championships in parallel in their entirety, with two different crews. We know VdeV well. It seemed interesting to us, particularly for visibility, to add participation in the GT Tour, with this opportunity which has opened up for the LM P3. »
