GT Tour: Pro GT continues, Sofrev masters

The podium was completed by the Audi R8 LMS of David Hallyday and Stéphane Ortelli.

After Audi and Porsche, Ferrari is the third manufacturer to win this season with a double for Sofrev ASP achieved in Race 2. The three Ferrari 458s quickly placed themselves at the forefront, notably with a superb start from Morgan Moullin-Traffort who had only started from ninth place. Accompanied by Ludovic Badey and Olivier Panis, the F458s were chasing the Porsche of Anthony Beltoise, victorious in Race 1. Team Sofrev ASP chose to extend the first stints of its cars which were able to climb to the head of the race with the time penalty imposed on the Pro GT team for its victory. Team Sofrev ASP could even aim for a hat-trick, but Fabien Barthez had to give in to the pressure exerted by Henry Hassid who gave the n°2 a podium. Victory thus goes to Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Ludovic Badey ahead of Olivier Panis and Eric Debard.
