Team Parker Racing unveils its trio

Team Parker Racing has revealed its crew which will compete in the GT World Challenge Europe with a Continental GT3. Fruit of the selection of the Bentley Motorsport Academy during a test organized last December in Portiamo (Portugal), Frank Bird will team up with Nicolai Kjaergaard and Euan McKay.

“We are delighted with the recruitment of these 3 pilots, explains Team Principal of Team Parker Racing Stuart Parker. They each have great potential, both on an individual and collective level. We can't wait to really get to work. They all showed great speed with the car, but they also have the ability to learn and listen to what the engineers tell them and they know how to communicate with the team. The choice was unanimous at the end of the selection. »

At 24 years old, Euan McKay is the oldest of the crew. He already has experience in endurance having competed in the discipline in 2018 and in the GT4 European Series last year.

“I am proud to have been chosen. Winter already seems too long, He explains. It is a great privilege for me to have been selected by the Bentley Motorsport Academy. Frank and Nicolai are fast and I can't wait to see what we can do together. They will have to get used to the driver changes, but I will be able to help them using my experience. I heard the news at Christmas. It was a big moment realizing that I was going to drive a Bentley the following year and be associated with such a brand. »

Pierre-Alexandre Jean was the fourth driver selected by the Bentley Motorsport Academy. The Frenchman will be entered with the CMR team alongside Seb Morris and Jules Gounon.

The official tests will be held at Paul-Ricard on March 12 and 13 while the GT World Challenge Europe season will begin the weekend of April 19 at Monza.
