Approved in the summer of 2022, the association between BMW and Team WRT will lead to a first race for the BMW M4 GT3 during the 24 Hours of Dubai (January 13-15), an event that the Belgian team won twice times, in 2016 and 2022. This will be the opportunity to observe the new pilot association between the legend of MotoGP Valentino Rossi and GT expert, Maxime Martin.
And here's the M4 GT3 that Rossi – as well as Martin and Farfus – will be rocking at Mount Panorama and in @GTWorldChEu.

The two men will be accompanied by the Englishman Tim Whale, from GT4, and another driver yet to be announced. Their BMW will be numbered 46, the magic number of “Doctor”.
Valentino Rossi and Maxime Martin will also be associated in GT World Challenge Europe, and will be joined by another GT star, the Brazilian Augusto Farfus. This trio will also take turns at the 12 Hours of Bathurst (Australia, February 4-5), scene of the first round of the 2023 Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC).
Le Team WRT will enter another BMW M4 GT3 in all these competitions, for the triple title holders in GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts. On the sleeves ofEndurance, the Belgians will share the tasks with the South African Sheldon van der Linde.
“This is a very busy and exciting time for us, as we move forward with the new partnership with BMW and prepare for the 2023 season, indicates Vincent Vosse, Team Principal of the Belgian team. The end-of-year break will be very short, but today is the time for our annual party, a tradition that we cherish and which allows the whole WRT family to get together over a good dinner.
This is the perfect time to show our employees the BMW M4 GT3 in full racing gear and announce a few more elements of our 2023 racing programs. We are extremely happy to retain and welcome prestigious names such as those you you read above. Our first race in Dubai is upon us, followed shortly by our debut as BMW M Team WRT at Bathurst. We are extremely excited about what lies ahead and we can't wait to hit the track! »
