Next year, Bentley will celebrate 10 years since the Bentley Speed 8 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans and intends to make his return to the famous Le Mans event. The Continental GT received support from the FIA and was designed by Brian Gush, who was already involved with the Crewe brand in 2003. For the moment, the British manufacturer has not yet revealed the program for this new GT3 for its competition debut.
« The message from our customers is clear, Bentley belongs on the track, explains Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber, President of Bentley. The Continental GT3 is the realization of a dream we had since the launch of the Continental GT. The new GT Speed is the perfect car for us to develop in competition and our work that we have already done shows that it has a lot of potential. The Continental GT3 will show the world what the Continental GT is capable of in its most extreme form, establishing a solid foundation for Bentley's longer-term plans. »
