Hyundai Motorsport presents its Junior drivers for 2021

2021 marque déjà la troisième année du soutien de Hyundai Motorsport à de jeunes talents du monde du rally and touring car races. The rally selection has been known since January, as a reminder it is Oliver Solberg, Jari Huttunen, Ole Christian Veiby who are registered in WRC2 this season. They will be behind the wheel of the I20 R5. They are also participating in the development of the new version of the little Korean.    

We must add to this line-up Pierre-Louis Loubet in his first full season in WRC within the 2C Competition team. 

Luxembourger Grégoire Munster makes his return to the Hyundai junior program, he will participate in the Belgian rally championship and in some international events. For WRC3, Irishman Josh McErlean was selected. He is registered in the British rally championship and some rounds of theERC.

We have also just discovered the names of those who will make their big debut within the Hyundai fold for the tourism category. 

The Czech Jáchym Galáš, 19, is lined up in TCR Europe after a convincing debut in TCR Eastern Europe last season.  

Hyundai went to look for young boys, aged 16, for its North American selection. Tyler Maxson and Tyler Gonzales will both compete in the US TCR championship behind the wheel of a Copeland Motorsport Veloster N TCR.  

Mitchell Cheah the Malaysian, seen last year in WTCR, will ride with Engstler Motorsport in TCR Germany and Asia. Hyundai's goal is to develop these young drivers to become future WTCR champions.
