IGTC – A 3rd car for Strakka Racing, which is overhauling its lines for Suzuka

The Suzuka 10 Hours, third round of the 2018 Intercontinental GT Challenge, following on from the Bathurst 12 Hours and the Spa 24 Hours, will be able to count on a third car entered by Strakka Racing.

One of the leading stables in the presence of Mercedes-AMG in the series promoted by SRO Motorsports will enter a GT3 in Pro-Am for a crew made up of boss-driver Nick Leventis, David Fumanelli and Felipe Fraga, who had competed at Spa alongside Rubens Barrichello and Christian Vietoris.

This modification leads to others, since Lewis Williamson, who drove with Fumanelli and Leventis at Spa, is now listed on the No. 43, present in Pro, with Maxi Götz and Alvaro Parente. Maxi Buhk is for his part transferred to the No. 44 where he will find the Briton Oliver Rowland and Adrien Tambay.

The Frenchman had competed in the first three rounds of the season Endurance Cup with Strakka Racing, at Monza, Silverstone and Paul Ricard. Rowland, resident of CEFC TRSM Racing in WEC, had been seen at Silverstone with Strakka Racing.
